Pastor Jeremy Holst and his wife, Ashleigh, have been passionately serving as the pastoral leaders at Revive since they planted the church in 2019. Their journey has been marked by a deep commitment to the Word of God, a love for biblical truth, and a desire to see lives transformed through the transformative power of the Holy Spirit. Together, they have built a life where home, church, and work blend seamlessly, reflecting their belief that every aspect of life should be rooted in faith and service.
Married for over 24 years, Jeremy and Ashleigh have been blessed with four wonderful children who play a vital role in their ministry. Over the years, life has taught them many valuable lessons, and the seasons of growth they’ve experienced have equipped them to serve others and bring hope during times of trial.
Pastor Jeremy is deeply committed to preaching the Bible as the true and authoritative Word of God. He speaks boldly and passionately about the truth of Scripture, our heavenly Father, and our Savior, Jesus Christ. Both Jeremy and Ashleigh grew up observing the seventh-day Sabbath and the biblical Holy Days, and these biblical truths continue to play a vital role in their lives and ministry. They believe in the importance of these Holy Days as a means to draw closer to God and to share the good news of His coming Kingdom through biblically-based doctrine.
Ashleigh serves as the Worship Leader at Revive, and her passion for bringing people into the presence of Almighty God through worship is central to her ministry. She feels deeply moved knowing that worship allows people to encounter the Holy Spirit and experience healing, and she is dedicated to creating an atmosphere where hearts can be transformed by His presence.
In 2010, Jeremy embarked on a quest to deepen his understanding of the Scriptures. He immersed himself in the study of Biblical Hebrew, learning from esteemed scholars, and later pursued Modern Hebrew through a nine-month course at the University of Jerusalem. His love for the Word has only grown, and he is eager about sharing this love with others through biblical teachings.
From 2016 to 2018, Jeremy and Ashleigh attended Baruch HaShem in San Antonio, where they deepened their understanding of Messianic culture and the richness of Torah services. In 2018, after much prayer and conviction, they sought the blessing and anointing of Rabbi Roy Garcia to open a place of worship closer to their home in Boerne. With the support and covering of Baruch HaShem, Revive House of Messiah was born.
The Lord has guided Jeremy and Ashleigh through many seasons of growth, and their hearts for ministry, the Word, and the Lord remain steadfast. At Revive, they are dedicated to creating a welcoming and vibrant community where faith can flourish, and lives can be transformed by the power of God’s Word.
